Founded by Greg Kelly in 1984, the firm is led today by Aleksandra Holland and Georgina Ponting as Principal and Legal Practitioner Directors.
Kelly Lawyers was founded by Greg Kelly in 1984 and from the very beginning, the firm was built around something that bigger practices often lose sight of: the belief that great legal work starts with genuinely knowing your client and understanding their individual objectives.
For decades, Greg led the firm with a focus on quality, integrity, and the kind of long-lasting client relationships that meant people came back; not because they had to, but because they trusted the people in their corner. In 1999, the firm relocated to Racecourse Road, Ascot, planting its roots firmly in North Brisbane’s community, where it has remained ever since.
In early 2023, Kelly Lawyers entered an exciting new chapter. Co-Principals Aleksandra Holland and Georgina Ponting took the helm, bringing fresh energy, modern practice, and a shared commitment to upholding the key components of the firm that Greg built. Greg’s legacy continues to resonate through the firm’s culture, values and the standards that clients have come to know and expect.
Today, Kelly Lawyers is a close-knit team of approachable, experienced lawyers who practice in Property and Conveyancing, Family Law, Wills and Estates, and Commercial Law. The faces have evolved but the unwavering commitment to providing exceptional legal services has not.
